ACCENT
MARCO SALVATERRA & MILOS STOJANOVIC – 2012
Two designers who confront the landscape, observing it with a gaze suspended between the desire to travel it all in one breath and that of lingering on the details without getting lost in that visual path that extends by continually moving the horizon, give life to a large installation that plays with weights and balances, a sort of trait d’union between earth and sky, between graphic sign and landscape, between movement of the eye and planes of vision.
Marco Salvaterra and Milos Stojanovic’s project explores the ways of “pushing” and realizing the potential strength of the place through a catalyst of natural and atmospheric energies that will change its appearance over time, progressively transforming it until it is completely reabsorbed. A large accent built with materials found on site that offers itself as a new three-dimensionality to be discovered, faced, exploited by shifting the weight of the space from power to action.
