DOUBLE REVERENCE

Marc Walter’s work represents a double reverence towards nature, symbolized by the two trees involved in the installation. The structure is made of wood recovered on site and expertly intertwined. The elegant structure seems to recall the forms of a Gaudi cathedral and soars upwards, connecting earth and sky.
Entering the work one discovers a place of serenity and meditation.
Double reverence inspires a moral duty of man, an act of respect and reverence towards nature that must be contemplated, protected, taught, that has its own bioethical right, including that of existence, completely independent of any consideration regarding its usefulness for man.
