MATTEO CRETTI – 2020

We live in a world in continuous transformation in which the hand of man has conditioned and conditions the planet. The consequences are different, from the depopulation of villages and mountains, the abandonment and intensive modification of agriculture and livestock farming, all this with repercussions on flora and fauna but also on everyday life.
This work is a call to rurality, to the protection of traditions to a world that rediscovers and exalts the relationship between man and nature.

It is increasingly rare to see chickens scratching around freely in the courtyards while there are many large-scale intensive farms.
By the way, Matteo Cretti has created a rooster and four hens as a symbol of the changing times and the traditions that are disappearing.
