TREE IN LOVE
ANDREA GASPERI – 2013
Andrea Gaspari reconstructs piece by piece a completely new, unusual and unlikely plant starting from the trunk of a felled pine tree. He adapts portions of different trees to it by cutting and assembling the woods until they form a mosaic of pieces that compose a presence that discreetly intertwines with the pines of the path.
SIt is a tree lost in a dream whose branches develop according to unusual trajectories, tangled in a spiral and thus curled in spirals describe its being overwhelmed by love. One of its branches is stretched out in the act of offering a red rose: to a plant, to the wind, to the pine forest or to those who enter it.
