Materia Prima aims to transform the narrative of the forest, to highlight some ambiguous aspects of the relationship between man and consumption and to investigate the social dynamics of our era. The labels, inspired by the world of fashion, differentiate the selected trees, making them unique compared to the others present in the forest. At the same time, however, they effectively standardize and flatten their identity, unifying it through a list of characteristics common to each plant.

Transplant is the brand created specifically for the installation and symbolizes with a touch of irony the decontextualization operation carried out by the Borlottee collective.
